Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi, Georgia, is one of the largest stadiums in Eastern Europe, and on 2014, it was selected to host the 2015 UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) Super Cup. The Super Cup is an annual football match between the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. To prepare for the event, the Arena’s access control and CCTV systems needed to be updated. The arena wanted a cost-effective system that would allow them to use their existing analog and IP cameras while adding new ones.

This case study looks at how the exacqVision video management system and network video recorders with IP cameras provided the ideal video security solution. The exacqVision solution was compatible with a variety of different cameras and could connect hundreds of remote clients and continuously record video. Since installation, the exacqVision has given the arena the capability to react to events faster and easily capture video clips of incidents for law enforcement. And since the system is easy to use, arena employees can more effectively handle crowd management.
