Pune Business Center's Donation

As part of the Johnson Controls Community College Partnership Program, the Pune Business Center (PBC) leadership team visited Don Bosco College in Pune, India in early September for a curriculum discussion and witnessed a lack of upgraded computer systems available to students. 

The college had more than 60 computers that were over 15 years old.  In 2022 they managed to purchase 10 computers after they received an initial grant from Johnson Controls. Since that time, the PBC leadership team worked with the internal IT department to donate additional computers to the college. JCI provided 40 additional computers to the college to upgrade their educational system. The laptops will help the students enhance their skills and prepare for the corporate world. The laptops were donated to Don Bosco college in the presence of Mike Wysong, VP Global Transformation, Finance Ops & Cash Mgmt Officer, Divya Jha, Director, HR India and Mitul Rustagi, VP, FCOE.

“We want to support the college and its students to the best of our ability” said Mitul Rustagi, vice president, Finance Center of Excellence (FCOE). “What we saw was an opportunity to extend our reach further. I’d like to thank our IT team and team Sparsh at the PBC for making this happen by ensuring the readiness of the laptops.”
