Johnson Controls Executive Heads Up ISHRAE Local Chapter
Sreekesh MK, general manager for HVAC sales, South Region, BT&S India, was elected as the President of ISHRAE Bangalore chapter in March. In this position, he will be responsible for driving all activities of the chapter. An engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the HVACR industry, Sreekesh joined Johnson Controls some six years ago. He has been associated with ISHRAE since the early years of his professional career and has held numerous responsibilities in the past.
“It’s a privilege and honor to be elected to lead the Bangalore chapter of ISHRAE. Since its inception, this organization has been active in initiatives relating to environmental protection and energy conservation. I look forward to continuing the work of engaging our members and the public on the importance and practice of sustainable living,” said Sreekesh.
The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) is focused on the advancement of HVACR technology and services. Founded in 1981, the organization has more than 28,000 members, with over 40 chapters and sub-chapters across the country, of which the Bangalore chapter is one of the largest. ISHRAE is led by a team of elected officers who are members of the Society working on a voluntary basis. Johnson Controls is a regular contributor to ISHRAE through thought leadership discussions, events and conferences.
