Susan Huppertz is vice president and chief supply chain officer for Johnson Controls. The Supply Chain organization brings together subject matter experts across Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Distribution, Global Quality and Global Sales and Operations driving operational excellence and integrating safety, quality, delivery, productivity and competitiveness to ensure best-in-class outcomes for customers.

Huppertz joined Johnson Controls from Hubbell where she most recently held the role of Chief Manufacturing and Supply Chain Officer. Susan has more than 20 years of experience across manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, procurement and operations and has held a variety of global leadership roles with both TE Connectivity and Siemens. Throughout her career, she has led global teams responsible for manufacturing, quality, strategic and tactical procurement, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, continuous improvement, factory automation, customer service and environmental, health and safety.

Huppertz holds a bachelor’s degree in both computer science and economics from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration degree from both Northwestern University and WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany. She has completed several leadership development and certificate programs at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Babson College. She also serves on the board of directors for Quantumscape, a publicly traded energy storage company.
